IMWA calls off shutters down strike

itanagar, Oct 29: The Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA), which launched a shutter down strike for one week starting this morning to register its protest against the DC, Capital Complex, has called off its seven-day strike, allowing its members to resume their business activities amid Deepavali festivities.

The bone of contention was that the DC, Capital Complex had reportedly dismantled the structures, erected at Ganga market and Bank Tinali area by the IMWA “to celebrate Diwali in a grand manner with its member(s)”, without any information.
