Stress for effective monitoring of national health programs

ITANAGAR, Oct 29: The 1st Governing Body (GB) meeting of Hospital Management Society (Rogi Kalyan Samiti) was conducted at the R K Mission Hospital’s conference hall here today with Capital Complex EAC Jiken Bomjen in the chair, said an official press note.

During the meeting, MO in-charge of CHC Itafort – Dr Kabak Tamar gave a status report of various hospital service deliveries and also addressed the issues and challenges which the CHC Itafort is facing. He also placed the need of urgent Infrastructure upgradation and sought attention from all quarters with the CHC being the lone govt health unit in Itanagar.

The GB members also gave various suggestions regarding the improvement of public health service delivery and assured all possible help from their end. The EAC, in his speech, stressed on punctuality and sincerity of medical staff citing examples of good behaviour and communication skills to deal with the patient.

Secretary R K Mission Hospital also suggested initiatives of CSR from different sources. Further in order to ensure the accountability and proper implementation of several national health programmes, the members present stressed on effective monitoring of the same.
