It is purely based on culture and tradition and we worship for the wellbeing, comfort, peace and prosperity of the humanity.

Unlike other agro-based festivals celebrated across the State, Si-Donyi festival is based on the preservation of tradition and culture. Our faith and belief is totally based on that and we celebrate the festival traditionally.

The celebration lasts for a week which includes sporting and cultural events and other rituals. On January 6, we are organising a function to showcase our traditional and cultural value to the outside world, he said.
