The snowfall that began on Friday evening continued throughout the day on Saturday covering the entire town with a white blanket. According to sources from Mechuka, locals as well as visitors rooted for the fresh spell of snowfall as the snow-clad mountains and trees provided a mesmerizing view.

People were reportedly seen in huge numbers making snowman and were also hurling snowballs at each other besides taking snaps.

Notably, the Saturday’s snowfall was apparently the heaviest after 2012 in the picturesque valley. It is reported that the snowfall was so heavy that few small structures such as garage fell down under its spell.
