Parl Secy pitches mantra of uniform development for all

SEPPA, Jan 10: Parliamentary Secretary for RD & PR and IPR & P Mama Natung along on Monday last made a whirlwind tour of Nere and Ningcho villages of East Kameng district and took stock of various developmental activities undergoing in the area.

Addressing huge gathering in both villages, Natung highlighted various developmental schemes that are undergoing and completed in his constituency, which include electrification of villages, drinking water supply, irrigation facility, village roads and infrastructural projects under tourism, rural development, health, education and other important sectors.

Announcing the upcoming projects, the Parl Secy claimed that since last four years after becoming legislator for the first time he has brought many developmental packages to his constituency. He promised to work even harder to bring more schemes for all-round development of his constituency. “As I promised, I have brought many developmental projects in my constituency. And, I further promise to you that I will never break your trust and assure to work even harder to bring more such schemes for all-round development of the area,” he added.

Natung informed that the State govt under the dynamic leadership of CM Pema Khandu is working with renewed vigour to ensure that the fruits of development are percolated down to the grassroots level in this democratic set-up of governance.

Advocating a mantra of uniform development for all, the Parl Secy stated that he accords even attention to every individual and treats every village and its entire people equally. He called upon everyone not to play politics in development matters.

Cautioning against politicizing in any developmental endeavour, he further stated that he will leave no stone unturned for all-round development of his constituency in particular and the State in general.

On a memorandum placed by the local populace, Natung has assured to look into all genuine demands.

Disclosing further about his vision, Natung urged everyone to support and cooperate in making 11-Seppa West assembly constituency a ‘model constituency.’

During the tour, the Parl Secy inaugurated a multi-purpose community hall at Ningcho village and a school auditorium at GRS, Nere.

Meanwhile, people of Ningcho village have expressed their gratitude to the Parl Secy for bringing electricity connection, road, teachers’ quarters and many other infrastructural projects at Ningcho village.

Natung was accompanied by ZPM Yelam Cheri, AS chairperson Yatek Natung, student leaders, govt officials, PR and public leaders. (DIPRO)
