Pre-recruitment training begins

ITANAGAR, Jan 10: The pre-recruitment training for the proposed Army recruitment rally, scheduled to be held at Likabali from February 5 to 8 next, got underway at IG Park here on Wednesday.

The pre-recruitment training is being conducted by officials from Indian Army’s Sigar Military Station in association with Itanagar Capital Complex and Papum Pare district administrations.

Coordinators from Capital Complex and Papum Pare – EACs Toko Babu and Kapter Ringu informed that 40 youths turned up today, out of which 28 qualified for the pre-recruitment training. Out of the 28 boys, seven had already registered for the Army recruitment rally and the remaining 21 were registered at the office of the DC, ICC, informed Toko Babu. ADC Talom Dupak and SDO (Yupia) Tabang Bodung have been made the nodal officers for the same.

Itanagar Capital Complex DC Prince Dhawan has appealed to the youths to avail the opportunity as the training would guide them to do better in the rally later. The pre-recruitment training would be held till January 12. (DIPRO)
