Retired DMO passes away

ITANAGAR, Jan 30: Retired District Medical Officer, Dr Bomjum Kamki, has breathed his last yesterday in a hospital at Dibrugarh, Assam following a brief illness. His body reached his native village Kamki in West Siang district last night.

Late Dr Kamki did his MBBS from Silchar Medical College, Assam in late 70’s during the peak AASU movement of Assam. He did MHA (Master of Hospital Administration) from North Carolina University, USA.  After joining the govt service late Kamki served as MO in different places of Arunachal Pradesh. He retired as DMO Aalo a few years back.

Meanwhile, Hirik Hiru Students’ Union has deeply mourned the demise of senior member of the society. Describing his death as great and irreparable loss to the society, the Union stated that the void created by his demise cannot be filled.

The Union prayed to almighty god for eternal peace of his departed soul and also to give enough strength to the bereaved family members to bear with the irreparable loss.
