Workshop on ‘Indigenous Medicines of Arunachal’ commences

ITANAGAR, Jan 31: The first ever two days workshop on use of “Traditional Indigenous Medicines of Arunachal Pradesh” is being organized at Urban Community Hall, Hawai in Anjaw district on Jan 31 and Feb 1 by the DRDA, Anjaw and supported by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS), New Delhi.

Dr S Bardhan, CHC Hawai, Dr M J Kalita, District Hospital Swamy Camp and Chow Sensa Lohan from Mangmow village in Namsai district attended as resource persons amidst the presence of govt employees and general public.

Mamata Riba, Deputy Commissioner Anjaw, in her speech, acknowledged gratitude to GSDS, New Delhi for extending their support towards organizing such workshop in a remote border district of Arunachal Pradesh, said an official note.
