3-day training program on ‘Magistracy’ begins

NAHARLAGUN, Feb 7: A three-day training programme on “Magistracy” organised for the administrative officers of Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services cadre has commenced at Administrative Training Institute (ATI) here today.

The GoAP-sponsored programme aimed to update the professional skills of civil administrators and enhance their knowledge to cope up with changing demands and expectations of citizens.

Altogether 21 Circle Officers and Extra Assistant Commissioners from different districts are attending the programme.

Papum Pare DC Tai Kaye attending the inaugural programme as chief guest as well as one of guest resource persons said that administrative officers are the eyes and ears of Govt in public delivery system. The administrators are the backbone of any Govt and it should be the role of every civil servant to remain pro-active in any situation to safeguard the citizens and provide benefits of Govt facilities to them, he added. ATI Director Pate Marik, among others, also spoke on the occasion.
