CRPF solves Tissa water scarcity

KHONSA, Feb 13: The 36 Bn CRPF provided a solution to Tissa village on scarcity of drinking water under its Civic Action Programme 2018. The battalion has constructed a water tank at Tissa market and constructed a water reservoir at water source, 1 km away from the market. Today, the facility was inaugurated jointly by S R Behura, Commandant, 36 Bn CRPF and Rohit Meena, SP Longding in presence of villagers and business community of Tissa to provide drinking water to villagers and market people.

Tissa is a tri-junction connecting Longding, Wakka and Khonsa. Providing drinking water will not only be helpful for Tissa market but also helpful to those personnel who travel on this route. Last year, the 36 Bn CRPF had constructed a bus stand for travelers at Tissa market. (DIPRO)
