APSTS, Itanagar Station honours its employees

ITANAGAR, Apr 7: Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS), Itanagar Station today felicitated its staff for their stupendous effort toward boosting revenue generation of the department and bolstering the hands of state govt as well.

Addressing the technical and non-technical staff, APSTS Itanagar Station Superintendent Tuter Dolum said that we are here to felicitate the sincere and dedicated staff of Itanagar station for their outstanding performance, apart from their normal duty for promotion of the department.

Stating that APSTS, Itanagar conducted a revenue achievement celebration at its premises in order to boost the enthusiasm of employees, he said that the achievement of exceeding the target has been possible with the coordinated efforts and sincerity of the staff.

He said that in 2016-17 Itanagar Station earned a revenue of Rs 35159280 against the target of Rs 31721272, while in 2017-18 it generated a revenue of Rs 35612172 against the target of Rs 32695500 and contributed a record revenue to the state exchequer.

Three employees of Itanagar station were felicitated with certificate and cash award of Rs 5000, which included Vidyapathi Thakur (best mechanic), Dilip Biswas (best driver) and Bari Karlo (best conductor).

Presentation of a cultural programme was an added attraction on the occasion.
