Month-long basic computer course begins

ITANAGAR, Apr 10: A one-month vocational training course on basic computer application, organized by the Urban ICDS Project, Itanagar under the Scheme for Adolescent Girls (SAG), a CSS, under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, GoI, started from today at ITI Computer Education Institute, Ganga, Itanagar. A total of 15 adolescent girls (AGs) from various Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) of the ICDS Project are undergoing the training programme.

Attending the inaugural programme as chief guest, Tame Yajum, EAC, Welfare, DC office, Itanagar Capital Complex, exhorted the trainees to learn the computer with keenness saying that in this digital & internet era the life without computer knowledge is very hard.

S C Tok, CDPO of the ICDS Project gave brief outline of the scheme & asked the participating AGs to take maximum benefit out of the said training. Palvinder Singh, proprietor of the Institute gave details of course content.
