TNAI AP branch visits OWA to celebrate Int’l Nurses Day

naharlagun, May 12: A team of Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), Arunachal Pradesh state branch today visited Oju Welfare Association here to celebrate the International Nurses Day.

The team comprising of TNAI State branch president KT Yasung, general secretary Techi Mepung, Deputy Director (Nursing) Kijum Karga, TRIMHS Nursing Superintendent T Taikam along with TNAI executive members and tutors & interns of Arunachal Pradesh State Nursing School visited the Swadhar Greh, Children Home and Shishu Greh run by OWA. To mark the occasion, they donated lactogen, cerelac and biscuits to the orphans and further promised to provide aid to the organization whenever required.

The interns briefed the sheltered women and children on importance of personal hygiene, specially emphasizing on hand-washing technique, while trainee nurses gave demonstration on personal hygiene.

The theme of the International Nurses Day 2018 was “Nurses: A Voice to Lead- Health is a Human Right”.
