DA Changlang conducts ‘Jan Sunwai Sammelan’

CHANGLANG, Jun 1: The Changlang district administration along with all line departments led by Deputy Commissioner Wayong Khimhun today conducted first ‘Jan Sunwai Sammelan’ at Rangkatu village under “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak”. The objective of the programme was to address public grievances and facilitate them with various Govt services at their doorstep.

During the programme, various services like issue of ST certificate, PRC, income certificate, birth certificate, Aadhaar enrolment, issue and renewal of ration cards, medical check-up with free medicines distribution, anti-rabies vaccinations, etc were delivered to the public, besides LED bulbs and fans made available to villagers on subsidized rate through APEDA.

The villagers were also made aware of various State as well as Central Govt sponsored schemes like Deen Dayal Upadhyay Bunkar Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichai Yojana, Chief Minister’s Agri-Farm Mechanisation Programme, PMeGP, etc through the concerned departments.

Forms for DDUBY and ITI admission were also distributed among the aspirants from the villages. It was also informed to the parents that possession of Aadhaar card and bank account would be mandatory for students’ school admission, which will start soon.

About 500 people from various villages namely, Khuchep, Rangkatu-I & II, Jungmaisung-I & II, Chakdok-I & II, and Khuchep-I & II attended the ‘Jan Sunwai Sammelan’. (DIPRO)
