Work from the grassroots level, Kaso tells party leaders

NAHARLAGUN, Jun 2: Parliamentary Secretary for PWD Techi Kaso has reiterated his commitment to serve the people of the capital complex.

Addressing a BJP executive meeting of Capital district and Itanagar Mandal at the conference Hall of the Bharat Scouts & Guides here today, Kaso said, I have always dedicated my precious time for the service of the community irrespective of caste, creed or religion as knowingly Itanagar is a “mini Arunachal” and “mini India”.

He urged upon the party leaders to work from the grassroots level for the welfare of the citizens of the capital city thinking it as “our own responsibility”.

Advisor to Chief Minister Tai Tagak while speaking as a resource person said that BJP is not only a party but a big family where everyone is accommodated. BJP is a party with a difference with a principle, ideology and discipline. Every party worker (karyakarta) should retrospect of their work done and come forward for the betterment of society and nation. Every educated and wise leader should guide and educate other workers on the schemes of the central government for the welfare of the general people, said Tagak.

Concerned at the “poor” performance of the students in the recent CBSE examination, he appealed all stakeholders to work hard for the uplift of education scenario of the state saying education is the base of the society.

Capital district BJP president Tarh Sopin elaborated on party activities and achievements.

Itanagar BJP in-charge appealed the grassroots leaders to work for strengthening the party.

Among others, ex-MLA Kipa Babu, IMC chief councillor Kipa Kaku, councillors and several other party leaders of the district were present.
