AAPSU to tour refugee affected dists

ITANAGAR, Jun 10: Maintaining its resolute stance on the Chakma-Hajong refugee issue, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU), in its executive meeting at NEFA Club building here today decided to tour the refugee infested districts of Lohit, Namsai and Changlang for five days, for holding consultation separately with various stakeholders and representatives of Chakma refugees.

During the tour, the AAPSU along with the refugee affected district students’ unions will hold interactive sessions with all the indigenous stakeholders of the districts of Lohit, Namsai and Changlang, and with the representatives of Chakma refugees at Diyun on June 16-17 next. The AAPSU team, to be accompanied by its legal advisers, will be led by union president Hawa Bagang and general secretary Tobom Dai, said a release here.
