A bid to lessen the impact of global warming

PASIGHAT, Jun 11:  In an attempt to beautify the premises of 5th IRBn HQs, Pasighat as well as to lessen the impact of global warming, the 5th IRBn personnel along with students from Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat organized a plantation programme today.

During the plantation drive, more than 300 saplings comprising of Gulmohar, Umbrella tree, Ezar tree and rain tree etc were planted.

This initiative to step up plantation was taken as it is very important these days to beat the affect of “growing global warming”. The organizers expressed thankfulness to Range Forest Officer, Pasighat Range, Jumgo Geyi for providing the saplings.

On the occasion, both Assistant Commandants Tachung Taring and Dilip Yosung advocated for planting more trees which will not only beautify the premises of 5th IRBn located at 2 Mile but also give out oxygen and sheds to rid of the warm weather.
