Call for maintaining peace in areas along Assam-Arunachal boundary

ITANAGAR, Jun 11: Papum Pare Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo has called upon all stakeholders to maintain peace and tranquility in the areas along Assam-Arunachal boundary.

He said that communal harmony and brotherhood should always be maintained by all to foster good relationship among one another.

He was addressing the HoDs, local leaders, GBs, prominent leaders and former PRI members, Inter State Boundary Committee members of Assam among others on the occasion of inauguration of office of Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) at Balijan.

He directed the police officers of the area to maintain proper patrolling and conduct ILP checking in their respective jurisdiction.

ADC and SDPO Balijan also spoke.

A tree plantation programme was also held on the occasion, which was attended by ADC in-charge Nabam Tajik and others.
