Over 600 visit APSLSA-APWWS stall

ITANAGAR, Jun 11: As part of an initiative of State Govt to facilitate various services to the citizens under the first ever Jan Sunwai Sammelan organized by the District Administration Capital Complex on Saturday last, the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Papum Pare DLSA and Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society set up a stall at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Hall here.

On the occasion, various services and activities such as free legal aid counselling, Help Desk for facilitating marriage registration, legal literacy materials of SLSA along with information leaflet/booklets were distributed to the visitors along with information on roles and activities of legal services authority.

Documentary on various NALSA schemes were screened during the camp. As per the report, the stall had a total number of 489 visitors while the Help Desk of APWWS for marriage registration desk had 132.

The distinguished visitors who made a round of the stall included the Chief Minister, Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex and others who appreciated the activities of the SLSA. The said camp was also attended by Budi Habung, Member Secretary, SLSA and Jaweplu Chai, District and Sessions Judge cum chairperson Papum Pare DLSA.
