CB-AASSATA calls for early acknowledgement of ATR by Govt

ITANAGAR, Jun 12: The Central Body, All Arunachal Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan Teachers Association (ISSE), on behalf of SSA teachers of the state, has pressed for immediate acknowledgement of action taken report (ATR) from State Govt’s end within seven days or else CB-AASSATA threatened to go for democratic movement against the GoAP for not adopting tangible mechanism for the welfare of SSA teachers of the State.

In a representation to the Chief Secretary, the Association while stating that since 2003 after the introduction of SSA in our State under Rajya Mission Itanagar, around 2030 Primary Schools and 1003 Upper Primary Schools have been established under the flagship program in Arunachal Pradesh has appealed to create at least one post each against every school by maintaining PTR (excluding SSA PTR) under DEE, GoAP.

It also reiterated on regularization of SSA in-service teachers batch wise, one batch at one DPC.

CB-AASSATA said: “Our legitimate demand for batch wise regularization (one batch at one DPC) of SSA teachers was put in the agenda of cabinet discussion for consideration but no positive development has been seen in this subject so far.”
