DC reviews performances of students with Education Dept

AALO, Jun 29: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan had on June 25 taken a marathon meeting with the DDSE, BEOs, BRCCs & CRCCs and principals, headmasters and teacher in-charges of various schools of the district to know the ground realities for poor performances of students in the CBSE and Internal Board Examinations at DC’s conference hall here.

Chairing the all-important meeting, the DC stressed on the need for re-dedication among the teachers to improve the level of performance in CBSE and Internal Board examinations. She said poor results and falling academic graph should be a challenge to teachers and concern for all stakeholders as we cannot think of a progressive society without proper education.

She asked all teachers to work in a cohesive manner with renewed spirit, stating that education scenario and level of performance will be monitored from time to time.

DDSE Eto Ete, who has recently taken over the mantle of school education in the district, said that effort will be made to motivate the headmasters, BEOs, BRCCs, CRCCs and teachers at all levels to improve the performance level and sought cooperation of all to fulfill the mission. The principals, headmasters and BEOs also spelt out multifarious problems like shortage of Maths, Science and Hindi teachers in many schools, growing indiscipline among students, parental role, shortage of infrastructures, etc. (DIPRO)
