APCS (EG) officers’ NE States Darshan flagged off

NAHARLAGUN, Jul 8: The 13-member APCS (Entry Grade) Lateral 2017 batch officers’ team, currently undergoing induction-cum-refresher training at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) here since May 28 last, was today flagged off by ATI Director Pate Marik for their 17-day four North Eastern States Darshan. As part of field visit induction training, the team will visit the four NE States of Nagaland, Assam, Manipur and Tripura till July 24.

In the flag off ceremony, the course coordinator cum ATI Assistant Director Bamin Tarang briefed the officers regarding various activities to be taken up in each NE State and advised them to be very sincere and take serious interest in their endeavour to learn new things and good governance in these States.

While extending the officers best wishes, Marik advised them to learn best practices and new innovations from the states wherever they visit. The best practices and new innovations in governance in other States should be keenly noted and officers should be able to recommend them to follow in our own state while formulating polices, he stressed.

He also advised the officers to be very particular in maintaining and managing time and also to respect the culture, and rules and procedures of each State wherever they may be. Further, Marik advised them to be disciplined and maintain a team spirit with efforts to help one another while in distress. He also advised them to take care of their health while in transits. Later, the team left for Nagaland by bus at 4 pm.
