Nipo Nabam sworn-in as APPSC Chairman, Mossang as member

ITANAGAR, Aug 9: Fifty-four-year-old Nipo Nabam was sworn-in as the Chairman of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and Komoli Mossang as a member of the Commission.

State Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra administered the oath of office and oath of secrecy to Nabam and Mossang in a brief ceremony held at the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan here on Thursday.

While Mossang is the former Chairperson of Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW), Nabam was serving as the member of the APPSC from October 16, 2014 till date.

Those present on the occasion were Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, State Legislative Assembly Speaker T N Thongdok, Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, Director General of Police S B K Singh and senior bureaucrats and members of APPSC, among others.
