Lekhi holds 4th ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ camp

ITANAGAR, Oct 5: The 4th camp of ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ organized by the District Administration Capital Complex to facilitate services to the citizens by various departments was held today at Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Lekhi.

Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan visited every counter and interacted with the team members to ensure that there was effective delivery of services to the public.

At the counter of the Food and Civil Supplies department, five free LPG connections under PMUY were provided, 17 nos of ration cards and seven LPG connection forms issued.

The office of the District Transport Officer besides issuing driving license, renewal etc, also generated a revenue of Rs 1,28,300.

The Women and Child Development and Social Justice Empowerment and Tribal Affairs depts saw a total of 512 beneficiaries getting various services under NSAP schemes, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PMMVY, Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005 and POSCO Act 2012 etc.

Itanagar Municipal Council generated a total revenue of Rs 44,045 through various services like renewal of trading license, issuance of birth certificate etc.

The office of the District Statistic Officer recorded a total of 64 AADHAAR enrolment and updation.

The Health Department registered a total of 402 beneficiaries under various services like Immunization, registration under CMAAY etc.

The other services provided during the programme were forms for water connection, employment certificate, trading license, renewal of arm license, distribution of items under Ujala scheme etc. The citizens were also given awareness on Disaster Management, sanitation, awareness on EVM and VVPAT, passport verification, C/A verification, GST registration etc.

The DC informed that the next camp for ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ would be held at Jullang village on 2nd November next and appealed the citizens to participate and avail facilities through such events which have been specifically organised for them.
