Sarkar Aapke Dwar held at remote villages

Tawang, Oct 6: The Tawang district administration held its 4th ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ camp at the community hall of Rho village, Thingbu circle under Jang sub-division of the district on Saturday with 39 departments participating in it and providing their services to the beneficiaries.

Tawang Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok, who along with Jang ADC L W Bapu visited all the department counters, said “the government should not always run from air conditioned rooms, but from the ground and that’s why we came to you in such a remote area.”

A large number of people benefited from the camp. Free medicines were distributed by health department in collaboration with DA. Besides issuing several documents including ST certificate, PRC, driving licence, and LPG connections & labour registration forms, enrolling people for Aadhaar card, other departments like Education, APEDA, Transport, PHED, Industries, Power, District Legal Services Authority provided services to the villagers.

Tajgi (Ziro): The Lower Subansiri DA conducted the 2nd Sarkar Aapke Dwar at Tajgi today. The program was inaugurated by Khoda Yarang, HGB of Tajgi in presence of Deputy Commissioner Chukhu Takar, and ADCs Toko Obi and Gombu Tsering.

The DC inspected all the stalls and appealed the people to avail the benefits to the fullest. In spite of the large cardamom harvesting season, the camp saw a huge turnout of villagers.

Huge rush was witnessed in the District Administration, Horticulture, DFCSO and the District Health Society stalls. The health department set up a medical camp with general OPD and eye screening provisions. PRC, ST and income certificates were issued on the spot.

The agriculture and horticulture departments distributed seeds and farming tools to the farmers. LED bulbs and fans were made available to the public at subsidized rates.  Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 12 beneficiaries were given new gas connections. The education department displayed the Smart class demo and distributed textbooks to children flocking the stall. Pamphlets on Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s flagship programs were also distributed by all the departments. (DIPROs)
