Sarkar Aapke Dwar organized at Chayangtajo

SEPPA, Oct 7: The 5th ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar (Jan Sunvai Sammelan)’ programme for East Kameng district was conducted at Chayangtajo on Saturday last with thousand plus people taking advantage of the facilities provided by the District Administration and various departments of the district.

The programme was inaugurated by Chayangtajo MLA Karya Bagang in presence of Gaon Burahs and a huge gathering of public of Chayangtajo area. East Kameng Deputy Commissioner G S Rajawat, ADC Ashok Tajo and other administrative officers, and all heads of departments participated in the programme to ensure smooth delivery of the services.

The MLA and DC along with other administrative officers inspected all the stalls and interacted with the officials and urged them to make sure that every single household is benefited from the programme.

Urging the people to take advantage of such programme at the fullest, the MLA informed that the main motive behind conducting the programme is to provide services to the public at their doorsteps.

During the day-long programme, various services were provided, which included, among others, issuance of PRC, ST and birth certificates, trading licenses, income, disability and old-age certificates, verification of Job cards, registration of farmers on Hortnet, distribution of organic plant protection chemicals, health camps for both humans and pet animals, etc.

Under CM’s Indigenous Textile Promotion Scheme, beneficiaries were issued with artisans ID cards, weavers were enrolled and free yarns distributed. Subsidized bulbs and fans were distributed under PM UJALA scheme.

Under CM Agriculture Modernization Scheme, several items including power tiller, rotary tiller, atta chakki and power sprayer and rice howler were distributed. Vermi beds, soil health cards and cono weeders were also distributed.

NSAP applications were received. Forms were issued under PM Matrutva Vandana Yojana. Aadhaar Enrolment & corrections were done. Fish seeds were given away to beneficiaries.

Households were given LPG connections under PM Ujjwala Yojana. Earlier, street lights with LED bulbs across Chayangtajo town were formally inaugurated by DC Rajawat on Friday evening.

ANINI: ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ camp was also conducted at Acheso village in Dibang Valley district on Saturday. During the day-long program, the public of Acheso, Angrim Valley and nearby villages were distributed various documents/certificates as per their requirement for which they expressed their happiness and thanked the Govt for organizing such beneficial program at their doorstep. Besides, the villagers were provided with benefits under various departmental schemes. (DIPROs)
