The trainees are being imparted training in various subjects like English, Science, Social Science, Maths etc and for various levels like primary, upper primary, secondary etc.

Meanwhile, the dumping ground at Karsingsa has been cleaned yesterday by the team of IMC officials and sanitation workers.

DC Dhawan informed that cleaning of dumping ground is being carried out on regular intervals. However, the designated dumping ground does not have enough capacity to dump all the waste generated from Naharlagun, Nirjuli and Banderdewa area, and therefore, the IMC is trying their best to streamline the system by carrying out regular cleaning.

At present the garbage is being managed by embedding with soil in layer and some are incinerated, informed the DC.

The DC has further requested the denizens to dump their garbage in the designated dumping zone and not near highway as many a times it is seen that people dump their garbage right on the highway. He further stressed that it is our moral obligation to keep our city clean.
