16th ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ camp held in Tawang

TAWANG, Dec 5: The 16th round of ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ in the district and ‘Jan Sunwai Sammelan’ was conducted at Govt Middle School, Bomdir village on Wednesday. The camp was inaugurated by Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok. Villagers from Langputse, Namet, Khirmu, Wokher, and nearby hamlets were benefitted from this camp.

In all, 984 beneficiaries got benefit from this camp which included five marriage registration, one succession certificate besides being issued various other documents like driving license, Aadhaar enrolment, birth-death certificates, ST certificate, PRC, disability, fitness, renewal of license, sale of textile and handloom products, and distribution of LED bulbs and fan under UJJALA scheme.

As per tradition of Sarkar Aapke Dwar being followed in Tawang district, DC Sang Phuntsok felicitated the school toppers from Namet Primary and Bomdir Middle School. He also handed over the science kit, microscope and few other school materials to the teacher in-charge of Bomdir middle school.

After inspecting the stalls of various Govt departments in the camp, the DC distributed vegetable seeds to the villagers through Gaon Burah of Namet and Bomdir villages.

Earlier, Kitpi CO Tashi Wangchu Thongdok, in his welcome speech, informed the villagers about the facilities available in this camp and asked them to avail maximum benefit from it. A team of doctors from Health Dept also conducted routine health checkup and immunization and registration under CMAAY, whereas banks took new applications for PMJJY, PMJSY, and other schemes. In all, 45 departments took part in this camp. (DIPRO)
