Use energy for creative purpose: Tuki to youth

ITANAGAR, Dec 5: A Nyishi Christian music album – ISORG ANYA (God’s Love), a maiden venture by the Catholic Youth of Corpus Christi Parish, Mengio was released today in a colourful function organized at Pastoral Centre, Hill Top here with Sagalee MLA and former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki making the launch.

Speaking on the occasion, Tuki while applauded the youth for their effort and said that he was very happy to partake in the celebration. He called upon the youth to be positive in life and use their energy for creative purpose. He also assured his help to the youth in such venture in future also.

Dr John Thomas, Bishop of Itanagar highly appreciated the Catholic youth of Mengio for their endeavour and also lauded those who rendered their valuable help in the venture.

Arunachal Pradesh Catholic Association (APCA) president while appreciating the work of Mengio Youth appealed to them to have faith in God, love one another, be positive and hardworking. He also stressed on the need of proper education for removing poverty in life.

He called upon the youth of Mengio to score distinction in Civil Service examinations and other competitive examinations and become good leaders in society.

Executive members of APCA, public leaders, priests, nuns, evangelists and about a thousand strong youth from Mengio, Yupia, Doimukh and Itanagar

The album has been produced under the mentorship of renowned artist of Nyishi community as well as state, Bijnoo Nabam. On the occasion, he enthralled the gathering by rendering one of his old compositions.

The singers of the album include Bijnoo Nabam, LikhaTadap, Ringu Mangha, Nabam Jangrang, Ringu Tina and Mama. The lyricists are Bengia Loog, LikhaTadap, Ringu Mangha, Nabam Jangrang and Mayung.
