Under the aegis of Spearhead Division of the Army, the Siang Brigade has carried out various development projects for the welfare of local population.
In once such project, the Army distributed office equipment and computers to Govt School, Mariyang in Upper Siang district to facilitate quality education to the students at the remote location. The items were handed over in a small ceremony in the presence of ADC Mariyang Ranpok Perme.
During the event, a small seminar on “Know Your Army” was also conducted to increase the awareness amongst the students about how to join the Army.
