ITANAGAR, Jan 13: The district level quiz competition cum book exhibition on science & mathematics under Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) 2019-20 was conducted in two phases (for Elementary level on Jan 12 & for Secondary level on Jan 13.
Govt Sec School, RGU Campus won the first prize in both categories. In the elementary level, Govt Upper Primary School, PTC Banderdewa and Govt UPS, Tigdo got 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively, while in Secondary level, GSS Karsingsa won the 2nd prize and the 3rd prize went to GSS Mani.
The winners were awarded with mementos and certificates.
Gracing the occasion, Papum Pare DDSE cum DPO, ISSE, T T Tara highlighted the importance of science and mathematics subjects in the competitive examinations as well as in daily life. He urged the students to give more emphasis and interest in learning both the subjects.
The headmasters, teachers, and officials from the district were present on the occasion.
