TAWANG, Jan 22: The COVID-19 vaccination campaign was launched at Lungla and Dutongkhar in Tawang district today.
As many as 100 frontline workers, including 75 in CHC Lungla and 25 in PHC Dutongkhar, were administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
At Lungla, ADC Tashi Dhondup was the first beneficiary to get the COVID-19 vaccine shot. MO, CHC Lungla, Dr Tsering Penjor and Dr Hage Sambyo were also administered the vaccine.
DRCHO Dr Lobsang Tempa oversaw the conduct of vaccination drives at both CHC Lungla and PHC Dutongkhar. The frontline workers included doctors, CDPO, nurses, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers & helpers, and supervisors of the ICDS Department. (DIPRO)
