BOLENG, May 4: Playing a Good Samaritan, the Alumni Association of Govt Primary School Riew under Siang district today voluntarily donated 26 pairs of bench and desk and constructed a toilet for teachers and students of the school.
The chairman of the Association, T K Kopak said that the difficulties being faced by the students “are over from now onward” as they are happy and can sit on benches as earlier they used to sit on floors.
Kopak has expressed gratitude to all alumni contributors, and said that without their generous contribution it would not have been possible to accomplish the noble cause.
The headmaster in-charge of the school, Tapang Ering said that the long felt demand of the students has been fulfilled and from the coming session, the students will not face any difficulty while attending their classes.
