ZIRO, May 4: In the wake of rise in Covid cases, several localities in Ziro, the district headquarters of Lower Subansiri, have come under containment zone.
Medical Colony, Hapoli, Bamin Michi and Hong villages have been declared as containment zones in the wake of upsurge of Covid 19 cases in these pockets of Ziro.
Areas like Engineer colony, RWD/ADC colony, Pare Ami, Gano, club road, Khoyer, Mudang Tage, Hanoko and Dilopalyang have been declared buffer zone.
In this connection to ensure that the SOPs for containment zones are followed in letter and spirit, a meeting of HGBs from Hong, Bamin Michi and chairman and secretary, Medical Colony Bazaar welfare committee was held at the Dc’s office chamber.
While briefing about the SOPs, Deputy Commissioner Somcha Lowang called for strict adherence to the safety protocols and also asked for extending cooperation to the contact tracing team.
SP Harsh Indora and DMO Dr Tage Kanno also attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
