War against Corona has to be fought by all unitedly: DC

ITANAGAR, May 12: Itanagar Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner in-charge Talo Potom while paying a visit to COVID Care Center at Lekhi today said that the CCC Lekhi can accommodate upto 1200 patients and urged those who don’t have home isolation facilities like, separate room and bathroom, to come forward and avail the facility at Lekhi.

He further stressed that empathy is the need of the hour and “we need to be sympathetic towards each other at such trying times instead of putting blame on the system. This war against Corona has to be fought by all unitedly,” he said.

Training held

Meanwhile, the Itanagar Capital Complex district administration conducted a training of Rapid Response Team & Contact Tracing Team at the conference hall of Mini Secretariat here today.

Addressing the trainees, Potom urged both the teams to work sincerely by maintaining proper coordination amongst themselves, and also following all the SOPs properly. He asked them to intensify their activities especially during the containment period to stop the chain of transmission.

DMO Dr Mandip Perme urged them to understand their roles and work in coordination with each other. He said the training has been conducted to ensure that the teams are properly briefed about their roles.
