KHONSA, Jun 17: Bolstering the efforts towards achieving full vaccination in Tirap district, three more villages of the district - New Lainwang, Old Lainwang and Jadhtung today attained 100% inoculation with a total of 137 eligible beneficiaries receiving the Covid-19 jab.
Circle officer Bari Basip Nekong Perme inform that under the guidance and constant support of local MLA Wanglam Sawin, Deputy Commissioner Taro Mize, DMO Dr N Lowang and DRCHO D. Nidak Angu, Tirap has hit yet another milestone as Lainwang which comprises of three villages New Lainwang, Old Lainwang and Jadhtung achieved 100% vaccination.
Out of 137 vaccinated, 45 were female and 92 male beneficiaries.
The CO attributed the ‘success’ to the concerted effort of the medical team specially those stationed at Lainwang including health care workers, Anganwadi workers, ASHAs and PRI members. (DIPRO)
