ITANAGAR, Sep 14: APCC president and former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has condoled the demise of veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Oscar Fernandes, who breathed his last in a private hospital at Mangaluru on Monday.
“Late Oscar Fernandes was a very hardworking, vibrant & popular organizational leader. His committed service for the interest of INC party and welfare & development of the country will always be remembered and will continue to inspire the next generation of young leaders. His demise is a huge loss to the Congress party,” Tuki said.
He extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to Almighty to give them comfort and strength to bear the irreparable loss caused to them. He also prayed to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
