PASIGHAT, Jan 13: Tayi Taggu has taken over as East Siang Deputy Commissioner on Thursday, replacing the incumbent Dr Kinny Singh who has been transferred to Delhi.
On assuming the charge as DC, Taggu said that he is committed to provide good administration to the people of the district. On his first day in office, he visited all the branches of the DC office and interacted with the officers and staff. The new DC while stressing on the implementation of e-Office in the DC office at the earliest said that e-Office is a Digital Workplace Solution to go paperless in government offices and digital monitoring mechanism of e-Office increases accountability and responsibility at all levels and brings positive changes in government office functioning.
The new DC also sought support and cooperation from all in delivery of services to the people of district and asked to maintain work culture.
Earlier, the incoming DC was handed over charges by the outgoing DC Dr Kinny Singh. The outgoing DC also extended her best wishes to the new DC. (DIPRO)
