‘Combat against COVID in the same spirit in days to come’

KHONSA, Jan 13: The 3rd quarter of District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) cum District Covid-19 Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Taro Mize, Tirap Deputy Commissioner at Kamlesh Joshi Conference hall in the DC office, Khonsa.

Presiding over the meeting, the DC apprised the house of the latest SOPs being issued by District Administration in view of “alarming” situation in view of rising Covid-19 cases and the new Omicron variant across the country, including Arunachal Pradesh and the neighboring state Assam.

The DC urged all stakeholders, specially the frontline warriors not to avail earned leave except in unavoidable ground.

District Medical Officer Dr N Lowang appreciated the performance of all stakeholders in fighting against Covid-19 pandemic from the day one till date and she appealed all to continue in the same spirit in the days to come because Covid-19 is not yet over.

After threadbare discussion, a resolution was taken to start testing in the POE for which DMO and MO in-charge shall make necessary arrangements in liaison with administrative officers.

Earlier, PPTs were made on performance, Covid-19 vaccination, NID-2022 and review on daily Covid statistics.
