LONGDING, Jan 27: Longding Battalion of Assam Rifles distributed 35 water tanks among 10 remote villages of Longding district on Thursday.
The project for distribution of water tanks aims to mitigate the hardships faced by the locals due to water shortage in dry season.
In this regard, the local population expressed gratitude to the Longding Bn of AR for executing the project to address the basic need of the villagers. (DIPRO)
