State’s active caseload cut to 34

ITANAGAR, Nov 24: The State’s active caseload has cut to 34, with the recoveries doubling the daily cases today.

Two fresh cases were recorded during the past 24 hours that upped the State’s tally of confirmed cases to 55257. On the contrary, four recuperated from the infections in the period that dipped its active caseload to 34 and mounted the total discharged cases to 54943.

Till now, 280 persons have died due to Covid-19 related infections in the State, as per a bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services here this evening.

Of the fresh detections, Itanagar Capital Complex and Tawang registered one case each, both of which turned out to be symptomatic.

On the brighter side, Tawang came up with two recoveries while Namsai and West Kameng discharged one each. 

On a further downswing, the State today tested only 288 samples for Covid-19 that took its cumulative figure to 11,97,143.
