BRO organizes blood donation camp with BPGH on R-Day

PASIGHAT, Jan 28: Celebrating the 73rd Republic Day with rest of the country, the Border Roads Organization’s Project Brahmank based at Raneghat near here organized a voluntary blood donation camp on Wednesday last in coordination with the Blood Bank, Bakin Pertin General Hospital (BPGH), Pasighat.

Several personnel from GREF/BRO and Army turned up to donate blood during the camp organized by the Headquarter, Chief Engineer, Project Brahmank at Central MI Room, informed Dr Dilem Modi, the in-charge of the BPGH Blood Bank.

“There couldn’t be a better day other than 26th January, the Republic Day to organize the blood donation camp where commitment of BRO and Army personnel for the welfare of the general public was also displayed beyond their nation protecting services,” said Dr Modi.

The noble initiative of the Armed Forces and BRO was wholeheartedly appreciated by the common public. The donated blood units will be kept at the Blood Bank of BPGH from where needy patients are provided free blood.
