DC Minga Sherpa bade warm farewell

YUPIA, May 13: All head of departments and administrative officers of Papum Pare district bade a warm farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa, who has been transferred to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir recently, in a farewell meeting here at DC’s conference hall today.

Sherpa, who has been briefly posted for four months in Papum Pare, has won the hearts of many with his dynamic and down to earth personality, apart from his administrative acumen and other innovative welfare works.

While speaking to the officers, he shared his experiences of staying in Arunachal Pradesh, particularly in Papum Pare and said that his brief stint in the district was ‘very good’ while thanking all his subordinates for their support in successful execution of developmental schemes in the district. He advised the officers to utilize their experiences in an innovative way and continue the good work and ideas which are beneficial for the people.

Among others, SP Dr Neelam Nega and ADC (HQ) Tabang Bodung also spoke and appreciated the DC for his administrative skills and visible changes he had made during his short stay in the district. (DIPRO)
