PASIGHAT, Jun 22: The State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), GTC Pasighat conducted two days training on oil palm development on June 21 and 22 at the SAMETI training hall here. The course coordinator Sengo Dini while welcoming the participants highlighted the details of course content and scope of oil palm cultivation in the state. He advised the participants to be attentive and reap the benefits of the training program and disseminate the knowledge gained from this training program to the farming community in their respective districts. M N Bori, instructor GTC was the main resource person of the training. 20 extension functionaries from seven districts of oil palm potential growing districts have attended the training.
