ITANAGAR, Jun 23: Tali, an administrative sub-division under Kra Daadi district was cut off from the rest of the state after the heavy rain-triggered landslides destroyed the PWD road from the Kumey bridge point to the ADC headquarters.
“Two nights of unprecedented torrential rainfall on June 21-22 has caused massive landslides at multiple stretches. The road has caved in at several locations, and one major culvert has been washed away completely,” Tali ADC Kipa Raja informed.
He said following this, normal life is in jeopardy and the restoration of the road is likely to take several weeks.
