KHONSA, Jan 24: Principal Secretary (Home & PWD) Kaling Tayeng, paying a visit to the trouble-torn Tirap district, has directed the district police headed by SP Kardak Riba to “work tirelessly and try their best to bring some peace and solace for the people”. To a ‘note’ from the SP, he assured to look into the matter being faced by the Police Department in the district “on priority”.
The Principal Secretary was speaking at a coordination meeting here after inspecting the various ongoing projects, including the under construction General Hospital building at Khonsa. The meeting was attended by DC Hento Karga, SP Kardak Riba, PWD Khonsa Circle SE Taro Jeram, EE Nani Tath, EE (Highway) and other administrative officers from the district HQs.
While interacting with the administrative officers, Tayeng urged all to put their sincere effort to deliver best services in the interest of the public of Tirap district. Earlier, the Principal Secretary while inspecting the General Hospital, Khonsa instructed the executing engineers and the contractor to complete the project in a time bound manner. (DIPRO)
