ITANAGAR, Mar 17: Home Minister Bamang Felix on Friday assured that advertisement against all vacancies in the Arunachal Pradesh Police Department under compassionate grounds will be issued within April next.
The Home Minister gave this assurance following a meeting he had with the representatives of the aggrieved candidates seeking appointment in the Police Department on compassionate grounds, at his official residence here.
He also informed that the draft guidelines for compassionate appointment under the Arunachal Pradesh Police Department will also be finalized within this month.
Meanwhile, the Home Minister urged the aggrieved candidates to call off their ongoing peaceful dharna at the IG Park tennis court here, which the representatives agreed in principle in view of the assurance.
