ITANAGAR, Mar 17: The third edition of the D Creo Festival, organized by Arts Club and Literary Club of Dera Natung Govt College, was held at the college premises here on Friday.
The festival saw a range of competitions, including story-telling, painting, and poem recitation, and the winners were awarded prizes.
The results: Story Telling (English): First - Teli Mipu of Don Bosco College, Itanagar and second - Deepok Nasi of DNGC Itanagar.
Painting competition: First: Lokam Nanya of Himalayan University, Jollang; second: Lemdu Chinyo of Govt College, Doimukh, and Third: Morni Gamlin, Bini Yanaga Govt Women College, Lekhi.
Story Telling (Hindi): First: Yalek Nika, Bini Yanga Govt Women College and second: Thomas Bra, DNGC.
Poem Recitation (English): First: Talu Mara and second: Tana Chachum (both from DNGC); and Poem Recitation (Hindi): First: Azim Ahmed, Rajiv Gandhi Govt Polytechnic and second: Pisa Namkum, Himalayan University.
“Overall, the D Creo festival was a roaring success, leaving all in attendance with a renewed sense of wonder and inspiration. It was a true promise to the creativity and talent of the students and faculty at Dera Natung Government College and others,” stated a release here.
