LEMMI, May 17: State BJP president and MLA (Pakke-Kessang) Biyuram Wahge inspected the ongoing construction works of Mini Secretariat and other infrastructure projects at the district headquarters here on Wednesday. Pakke Kessang Deputy Commissioner Tayek Pado, head of departments, Panchayat leaders and a host of officers accompanied him during the visit.
While interacting with the DC, officials of the executing agency and HoDs, the local MLA expressed his happiness over the progress of all the infrastructure development projects in the district. He, however, directed the concerned officers to work in a coordinated manner to ensure all works are completed in a time bound manner and said these infrastructures once completed will be the assets of the district and the state in general.
DC Tayek Pado said that construction work is progressing very fast and about 90 percent of construction works is completed except the Mini Secretariat building. He instructed the executing agency to connect water supply and electricity at the earliest, so that the accommodation problem for the officials is solved.
