CRPF conducts awareness program on Mission LiFE

ITANAGAR, May 25: The 138 Bn, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has organised an awareness programme on Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) here at its Senki View campus on Thursday.

H S Kales, Dy Inspector General of Police, 138 Bn, CRPF addressed the personnel as well as civilians about impact of our every purchase in environment, its carbon footprint and the garbage it generates which ends up in landfills sites causing water borne disease and air pollution. He stressed on reducing food wastage, encouraged to have small servings.

He pointed out the crucial role of environment, our ecosystem on human survival; the importance of plant, animals and our co-dependency on them.

Under his guidance, various eco-friendly activities like creation of LiFE centre for collecting old clothes, utensils, etc were performed involving enthusiastic participation of force personnel and civilians.
